Being small or having an eye-catching color is great, but we evaluate structure, feet, overall balance, proportion, temperament, hair, pedigree, mature size and genetic potential before selecting a bull for our program.

How we choose a herd Sire

At Mini Moo Crew, our family is picky about bulls. Really picky.


We want our calves to be small and correctly built, colorful and structurally sound, hairy and balanced, with the sweetest temperaments for the most enjoyable ownership.


But our herd sires have to stand up to scrutiny as an entire animal.

MEET LITTLE PACO

THE FOUNDATION OF MINI MOO CREW

Little Paco, son of the famous Little Sancho, is the heart of the Mini Moo Crew breeding program. Standing 36.5" tall and chondro+, he's beyond an exceptional herd sire. Paco is a true sire of sires.


He combines exceptional hair and curls with a balanced build and outstanding temperament. Paco comes when his name is called and is perfectly content to stand there as long as someone wants to brush him.


His calves can be remarkably different in color and markings, which makes every pairing exciting. More importantly, we continue to see consistency in the traits underneath the color: structure, hair, temperament, and overall quality.

Little Sancho

In the miniature cattle world, Little Sancho is of the most recognizable and influential bulls. Now retired, Little Sancho changed the game, and his genetics became highly sought after and continue to influence leading miniature cattle programs today.


As one of the only - if not the only - miniature cattle bulls to have generated multiple millions of dollars in gross sales through his genetics and offspring, Little Sancho created a legacy unlike any other.


For us, that makes Little Sancho much more than a recognizable name on Paco's pedigree. Paco is carrying that legacy forward and proving it through the cattle he produces.
