Once payment is received, Jamie will authorize the release of your semen and/or embryos.



Arrange shipping

After the genetics are released, the buyer contacts Nichols CryoGenetics directly. You'll provide Nichols with your shipping address and pay the shipping charges directly to Nichols by phone.

Genetics are Shipped to you

Nichols handles the shipping from there. In most cases, your semen or embryos can be on their way to you within just a couple of days.

    Mini Moo Crew bull semen ranges from $500 to $1,100 per straw, depending on the bull and the semen type. Heifer-sexed embryos are $2,500 in the U.S. and $2,750 for export. See the pricing chart above for details by bull.

  • How do I buy bull semen or embryos from Mini Moo Crew?

    Call or text Jamie with the bull's name, the number of semen straws and the type of semen you want. For embryos, tell her the pairing and how many embryos you'd like. You can pay by Venmo, PayPal or wire transfer. Once payment is received, Jamie releases your genetics from Nichols CryoGenetics. You then contact Nichols directly to arrange and pay for shipping.

  • Is cow semen the same as bull semen?

    Yes. Semen always comes from a bull, but many people search for "cow semen" when they're looking for semen to breed their cows. At Mini Moo Crew, that means semen from our Mini Highland herd sires.

  • Can I buy Mini Highland straws or embryos outside the U.S.?

    Yes. Conventional and heifer-sexed semen from OhWow and Little Francisco is export certified for Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Heifer-sexed export embryos are available for those same three countries at $2,750 per embryo. Export requirements vary by pairing and destination country, so contact Mini Moo Crew to discuss your country and breeding goals.

  • Where do the genetics ship from?

    Mini Moo Crew semen and embryos are stored at Nichols CryoGenetics in Maxwell, Iowa, and Nichols handles all shipping. In most cases, your genetics can be on their way within a couple of days after release.
