Chief brings another layer of genetic and color diversity to the Mini Moo Crew breeding program. Chief came to us from Creekside Highland Haven and is a son of Smarty from Rocking L Ranch, adding another established bloodline to our herd sire lineup. Known as our "Rainbow Maker Roan," Chief was selected for far more than his color. Like every bull in our program, he first had to meet our expectations for overall quality, structure and breeding potential.
His dun roan genetics create exciting possibilities when paired with carefully selected females and give us another tool for producing a wide range of colors while maintaining the qualities we expect from our cattle.
Chief is co-owned with our partner farm, Highlands of Hope, allowing us to combine complementary genetics and continue building both programs together.
